Where is the Shaolin Temple in China and is it worth visiting?
The Shaolin Temple is located at Songshan Mountain in Dengfeng near Zhengzhou, the provincial city of Henan. This Buddhist temple is famous for Chinese martial arts and particularly Shaolin Kung Fu both home and abroad. The Shaolin Temple is the Mahayana Buddhist monastery perhaps best known to the western world, and therefore it is really worth visiting.
