Where is the romance?
I usually wait until I finish a book before I give my opinion on it, but if I did that here I would probably never wake up. This book is so boring that I can only a read a few pages at a time. I usually enjoy books by Julie Garwood very much. I have been reading her for years, but Ransom does not have the same punch as other books I have read in the past by her including The Secret and The Prize. I have forced myself to continue reading thinking to myself it has to get better but alas it has not. The Plot Ransom takes place in medieval times. It starts in the past during the raid of a home in order to find a special box. The box is then hidden by one of the young daughters. We then jump to a time many years later and the box has still not been found. It is believed to be in the possession of the young girl still, but she has disappeared and has been believed dead. Her sister is sent to locate her in the Scottish highlands. The point I am at in the novel is around 100 pages in. At this
