Where is the repository for users uploaded files located?
A. The repository for uploaded files — image, audio, document files etc — for each user is a folder named after his login user name. This folder is located in the same site as his classroom. It can be a folder directly under his classroom directory or it can be a folder apart from his classroom directory. This can be easily configured during setup of the classroom by the administrator using the provided configuration page (1_config.asp). The locations for the repositories of uploaded files should be permanent ones so that course content will display the hyperlinked image, audio and other files without error. When users upload their files, individual classroom folders — together with subfolders of individual users — will be automatically created. The user — instructor or student — does not have to bother about this issue because their uploaded files can be accessed from within the classroom clicking the “View My Files” or “Upload Files” hyperlink on the homepage.
