Where is the repetition in Gilgamesh?
I read Gilgamesh last summer and I cannot remember any specific examples. However, don’t look for “explicit” examples of repitition. In many cases in epic poems like that, a lot of the literary elements used are not obvious, they are implied, or you will need to really think about what it is that’s going on, then compare it to something that happened earlier. I remember that Gilgamesh had his alter ego i’ll call him. I believe taht if you look into that, you can find some instances of repitition. I hope this helps and sorry I couldn’t be of more assistance. It’s a great story though so enjoy it!
