Where is the “protection device”?
After the installation of Sequel, a wizard pops up asking you to download and activate the Sequel license. Now do not get confused, if the wizard wants you to download the license to a copy protection device (also called Steinberg Key or just a “dongle”). You do not have such a thing and you do not need it for Sequel! The license for Sequel is stored in a container file (we call it “soft-eLicenser”) on your harddisk. So, just follow the wizard and ignore the word “protection device”. More details about the soft-eLicenser is can be found here.
