Where is the proposed redevelopment area?
A preliminary feasibility study has been completed which assists in helping define the proposed redevelopment area. The City Council at is meeting of September 11, 2007, adopted a Resolution of Intent to for the proposed redevelopment area. The Resolution of Intent established a proposed survey area for the proposed project area. The Planning Commission at is meeting of October 11, 2007, adopted the Survey Area chosen by the City Council to be the preliminary project boundaries. The Project Area was originally proposed and surveyed with approximately 1,860 acres and generally located northeast and southwest of Barton/Palmira/Young Road; northwest and southeast of Roger/Emerald Bay in the south and centrals portion of the City of South Lake Tahoe.
