It will be located towards the back of the engine compartment if one is equipped. If you are looking in at the engine from the front of the car it is located in the very back right and will be mounted on the plastic fender above the wheel of the vehicle. Only police Interceptors work with these “chips” due to the fact that a connector is pre made and left clipped inside the engine compartment near the mounting area not manufactured into the civilian models. In actuallity there are many many differnces between the civ and police model Crown Victorias. I am an expert in this area because I own a company where I sell and equip police vehicles for a living. They are built more heavy duty, stronger in every way, and are pre-wired for equipment. They even have cut out lines for push bumpers and such.
