Where is the oxygen sensor for a Honda Civic?
To remove the sensor, the front bumper, grill, and radiator are removed for ease of access, as the sensor has often welded itself to the manifold. Often, very high heat (from an acetyline torch) must be applied to the manifold (off the vehicle, of course, to prevent a fire) to free the sensor. This heat will destroy the sensor, so be sure it is non-functional before you go to all this trouble and expense.
