Where is the original american flag located in?
The original “American flag” was the Gadsden Flag (“DONT TREAD ON ME”). No one knows where the original is located. The original you may be thinking of, the circular 13 stars used at the battle of Cowpens and Saratoga during the Revolutionary War…no one knows where that original one is either. The “Star Spangled Banner”, flown during the War of 1812 that produced the National Anthem, however, is still around in the Smithsonian American History Museum in Washington D.C. but it is not the original American flag.
