Where is the nativity story in the bible?

Matthew 1:18 – 2:23 Luke 2:1-21 How’s this for a “nativity” story: -Nowhere does it say there were 3 men. There were three types of gifts, but even that is not inclusive to the number of men who gave them. It is unlikely that men who travel such a far distance, “from eastern-parts” (likely Media) who do so in just a pack of three. -The star did NOT lead these men directly to Jesus, that is, not at first. According to Matthew 2:1, 2 the star led them first to Herod, who wanted to kill Jesus. Matthew 2:7-9 shows that Herod sent the men to find Jesus in Bethlehem (the star led them there also). Matthew 2:8 shows that Herod wanted the astrologers to report back to him when they found the child so that he could pay respects to it. However, Matthew 2:13 shows the real reason Herod wanted to find Jesus. He wanted to kill him. So who do you think was using the star to help Herod find Jesus? Was it God, who forbids astrology? Or was it Satan who wanted to kill Jesus from the get-go? You decide.
