Where is the most reliable weather in late September in Europe?

I have been to the Greek Island and Cyprus in late September and had really good weather. In the Greek Island it was nice sunshine during the day about 23c-28c but did get a bit nippy at night, Cyprus was the same during the day but still quite warm at night.
