This can be kind of tricky, mainly because every person out there has a different pain tolerance. So one person may say it didn’t hurt at all, while another person will completely disagree and say it hurt like crazy. But for the most part there is a general rule you can follow that will help you decide what place on your body is the best place to get a tattoo. First thing is first when someone is considering getting a tattoo they should keep in mind that getting the tattoo in a place that can be easily covered up with clothing is probably best. Another thing that should be brought into consideration is your hands and feet are not the best places to get tattoos. For one they tend to fade a heck of a lot faster, due to the fact that your socks and shoes will be rubbing up against your feet all the time and you are also constantly using your hands. Furthermore, these places tend to hurt extremely bad due to their not being any fat on those place. Some of the best places to get a tattoo wo

Actually, it depends on your clothing style, the climate where you live, etc. If, for instance, you live in Denver, the best place would definitely be on your wrist as chances of that being seen in the winter are high and summer it’ll look great. If, for instance, you live in Florida, the best display place would be your leg because you can wear shorts year round. The back is an excellent dramatic showcase as you show it when you want it to be seen…along with the rest of your torso…it makes a nice statement. But, if you want to go for someplace where it is ALWAYS evident: Neck or hand. But those are obvious. Go with arm or lower leg so you can cover it while it heals. I have got 5 tattoos, 2 on the ankles, 1 on the calf, 1 on the back of my shoulder and one on the upper arm. The one that gets seen the most is on the upper arm. The one on the back of my shoulder get tan lines running through it. The other 3 are only seen in summer. I don’t recommend legs or ankles, they really hurt
