Where is the most ideal place to mount the actuator magnet?
Firenock’s actuator magnet should be mounted on the arrow rest to get the best results. Ideally, you should have a place that is 2 inches from the board head/field point after full draw. That is about 7/16 of an inch away from the arrow path and is flat. In some situations, it is just too far for the actuator magnet to be 100% effective, and then you can consider adding a second magnet by stacking the second magnet on top of the first magnet, which this will make the distance 3/16 of an inch shorter. 1/8 of an inch is due to the height of the magnet, and the 1/16 of an inch is due to increase in magnetic force. Firenock offers optional Actuator Brackets for Whisker Biscuit, Actuator Brackets for Trophy Taker and Actuator Magnet Pack (magnet in black color) for perfect actuator placement.
