Where is the most earthquake-prone region in Australia?
This one is hard to answer as there are no major fault lines in Australia. As a result you could pick any area in Australia to live and almost be guaranteed no earthquakes. However we still do get the one off earthquake now and then. Earthquakes never occur inland, so you would be looking at anywhere along the outside coast of Australia for earthquake regions. My best guess would be northern coasts, as this is near Indonesia and PNG, which have a few more earthquakes than us. Other than that, you won’t find much.
