Where Is The Mineral Magnetite Mined?
There are several places in the world that are used to mine magnetite and the areas are not confined to one continent or nation but spread the world over. You can find them in Kiruna in Switzerland and many other European countries. You can find them in Norway, Germany and Italy. There are some other places also where you can find magnetite and the places are mostly located in the United States. It can be found it in the states of Oregon, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Virginia, New Mexico, Utah and Colorado. You can also found the mineral in countries like India and South Africa. When you are in the US state of California you can find magnetite on some beaches also and this phenomenon happens on the western coast of New Zealand too.
