Where is the mineral beryl found?
Beryl is a colorless mineral that can be found in gemstones, and is a main ingredient in beryllium. Emeralds are a green beryl, while aquamarines are blue. Various types of beryl can be found in Maine, Connecticut, New Hampshire, Colorado, California, New Mexico, Utah and South Dakota. Emeralds are found in Columbia, Brazil, Russia, South Africa, Austria and North Carolina.
