Where is the main LaneFX hardware unit typically installed?
A. The most common locations to install the LaneFX main unit is in the glove compartment (on the passenger side) or in the center console. Together with your installer, you should find a location inside your vehicle where the LaneFX main unit can be 1) concealed and 2) easily reachable from the driver’s seat when entering customizations into the system’s screen. Basically, the LaneFX main unit should positoned such that the driver can enter customizations and then try out their effects without having to get up from the driver’s seat. WARNING: Never attempt to enter customizations in the LaneFX main unit while driving or while the vehicle is moving. Always ensure that your vehicle is parked safely before customizing and trying out different LaneFX settings.
