Where is the Lewis and Clark Portage around the falls?

We have a wonderful handout at the Front Desk. The portage in the Great Falls area starts near Belt Creek (formerly Portage River), east of the city and follows a location on the south side of the Missouri River for 18.25 miles. Most of the route lies on private lands and Malmstrom Air Force Base, so please use public access points.
