Where is the Katrina Research Center located?
The Center is located in the Gulf Park Library, USM Long Beach campus on the 3rd floor at 730 East Beach Blvd., Long Beach, MS 39560. Highway 90 is the best way to come as you travel west toward the campus. There is a stop-light at Highway 90 and Beach Park Place where you turn into the USM campus-you will not miss it as it is clearly marked and on the Highway. The library is the three-story building behind the empty shells of Lloyd Hall and Elizabeth Hall damaged from Katrina. There is an elevator or the stairs to the third floor.
