Where is the intake air temperature sensor located?

0

In most cars, it is placed in the same chamber as the intake air filter. In my 96 corolla, it is on the “clean air” side of the filter box just before the pipe that leads to the manifold. The only thing i can think to compare the apperence of the sensor to would be something like a small rubber spark plug. If it is not in the air filter box, it has to be somewhere attached to the manifold or the pipe leading from the manifold to the air filter box.
