Where is the hottest place to go on holiday in june?
We went to Zakynthos, Alykes last June and we hit temperatures of 40+ some days! Its also a beautiful place if you like quiet places, if you prefer party central then there is a resort at the bottom of the island called Laganas which is near the airport and is party town 24/7, however, Alykes and Alykanas, both very small family towns are only 20 mins away from Laganas! There are other busier places that aren’t quite as manic as Laganas, such as Katastari and Tsivili, both very family orientated areas. Also, there are a ton of day trips you can take, to the Smugglers Cove, the caves of Porto Vroma, out to see to spot the turtles, over to the mainland to visit Olympia and even 2 days trips to Athens to visit the Parthenon. Well worth a visit!
