open hood and directly on firewall is black hose coming up and looping down. It is about 3/4 in inside diameter. there is a little plastic fitting in this hose which is a valve which is controlled by air vacuum. It controls the hot water being diverted from the engine to the heater. you can pull off the vacuum hose and see if it has vacuum and you can manually actuate the valve with your finger reach around the back of this item and stick your finger through the hole and slide the valve up…have someone turn the heat on and off engine not running but with the accessories switch on key switch on you should feel or hear the valve actuating.
