By car it takes you approximately the same time, depending on the traffic. You can reach Scheveningen in 20 minutes from the centre of The Hague, and Kijkduin in 30 minutes. Rotterdam lies south of The Hague and approximately 20 minutes by car and by train, Utrecht in the east is 40 minutes away. Public Transport to and in The Hague is very well organised. The city’s compact character and its well-tuned network of buses and trams, means that you can rely on an optimal infrastructure. Especially when you want to stay in the centre or near the beach, it’s best to travel by public transport.
