Where is the fuel filter located on a 2003 GMC Envoy?

Underneath the vehicle on the driver’s side. THe inlet and outlet fuel hoses are on the same end of the filter and are attached with quick connect fittings. The filter is about 2 inches in diameter and about 3 inches long.
