Where is the Film Commission office located?
The San Diego Film Commission (SDFC) is located in the Executive Complex Building at 1010 Second Ave. in downtown San Diego. The entrance to the office is on Second Ave, across the street from the Westgate Hotel. Our offices are located on the 15th floor, Suite 1500. Parking downtown can be an issue. The best place to park is Horton Plaza located across the street from our office building. Horton Plaza will validate parking for up to 3 hours if you make a purchase at the mall. Unfortunately because of funding issues, we are unable to validate parking in our buildings parking garage. The location library is always open during normal office hours. If you are working on a specific project, it is best to make an appointment to come in. That way you are sure a Film Commission staff person is available to assist you.
