Where is the Federal Excise Tax charge located on my bill?

0

The Federal Excise Tax (FET) paid on toll services will be located in the applicable toll portion of the bill. For example, the FET paid on toll calls from a long distance plan will be located with the long distance charges as “Federal Tax” under Taxes and Surcharges section. The IRS will issue all eligible refunds of FET on qualified toll service for the 41-month period from March 1, 2003 through July 31, 2006. These toll services may include long-distance telephone service, all-distance calling plans, Voice over Internet Protocol (VOIP) and wireless service plans.
