The consumer’s SID is stored in the cookie on that consumer’s browser via Commission Junction’s tracking technology. When the consumer completes a lead or sale with a Commission Junction advertiser, the SID is saved in that lead or sale transaction record. Publishers can reward their unique visitors by using Commission Junction transaction reporting to associate leads and/or sales with the consumer who conducted that transaction.
