Where is the drain filter on the Whirlpool Duet washer?
According to Whirlpool, the drain filter in a Whirlpool Duet sits inside the drain pump assembly, located in the front of the washer, behind the bottom panel called the toe panel. The drain pump assembly can be removed by opening the door that covers the wiring, disconnecting the wiring from the pump-motor terminals, removing the screw that secures the pump to the washer frame, and removing the drain hose and tub outlet hose.
