Woodland Park is located approximately 30 minutes from the lodge on Hwy 24. Woodland Park is a mid-size town, with doctors, emergency clinics, veterinary care , major grocery chains, hardware stores, gift shops, restaurants and more. Scattered between Lake George and Woodland Park is the towns of Divide (large general store and several shops) and Florissant offering convenience stores, gas, trading posts and small gift shops.
