There is an IGA in Bramalea, about 7 km west of the airport. There is a Loblaw’s in Etobicoke, about 6 km southeast. There is a Price Chopper in Mississauga, about 4 km northwest. I think using a taxi to get there and back from the airport might be a bit pricy. Taxis will charge a $4 initial fee, $1.60 per kilometer, and $0.50 per minute. A trip to the Price Chopper would be about $12.00 one way. Do you then have to get back to the airport? Another $12.00 If you are just trying to save on airport restaurant costs, this is probably not the way to do it. If you have specific dietary needs, or prefer food you have prepared yourself, it can probably assure you of the quality and the ingredients.
