Where is the cheapest oil change?
There are a few manufacturers that include free oil changes as part of their original sales warranty — you need to check your paperwork to find out if that is the case with your vehicle. If not, then do-it-yourself is the cheapest. You can get an “oil change kit” for about $15 at most auto-retail places, like O’Reilly’s/Schucks/Kragen/Checker, or AutoZone. Of course, if you’ve never done it before, you’ll need to buy the appropriate wrench, drain bucket, rags, and possibly a few other items, so your first oil change may cost $50, but $15 a pop thereafter. After that, Walmart is probably your best bet, or other big outlets that have autoshops attached. Probably get an oil change for $20-$30 depending where you live.
