Where is the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness?
The Boundary Waters Canoe Area (BWCA) wilderness is located in Superior National Forest, located along the Ontario border of north eastern Minnesota. The BWCA contains more than 1 Million+ acres of pure wilderness – with more than 1100 drinking water quality glacial lakes, connecting rivers and streams. Sound fantastic? It is! The Quetico Park lies directly across the Canadian border from the BWCA wilderness.
