Where Is The Biggest Roller Coaster In The World?
Balder is the biggest wooden roller coaster in the world. It is located at Liseberg amusement park in Gothenburg, Sweden. It was started in 2003 and became an instant hit with the public. It has twice been voted (2003, 2005) the Best Wooden Tracked roller Coaster in the world. Not because of its speed but because of its long time period in air. It is quiet different from other wooden roller coaster because it is a prefabricated wooden roller coaster. The track has been developed in such a way that it snaps to each other like Lego pieces. It has more layers of wood which are tightly bonded together as a substitute of being nailed together, which makes it looks more like a traditional wooden roller coaster. This system has major benefits to the park as well as to the riders.
