Where is the Best Wine Store in Dallas, Texas?
Mercy Wine Bar is one of my favorite places in Dallas! The entire experience is wonderful and enjoyable, regardless of how many people you go with. A little expensive, the food and wine are worth every penny. I recommend the flights of wine chosen by the servers. He or she asks your preferences and brings out three wines that never disappoint. We have been hanging out on the patio at Vino for about 2 years. We have come to know the owners and it is like an extension of our own living room. I have had numerous gathering there from birthdays, New Years, anniversaries and just good old girls night. There are numerous regulars who first met over a glass of wine at the bar but now meet to discuss wine and over time have become friends. The staff is great ! Denise the wine expert is awesome, she is well traveled and a certified somlier(sp) she selects the wine and has yet to recommend a wine we did not like. They owners are innovative and have expanded the food menu with Great Cheese and other great nibblesPros + wine and more wine great wineCons – parking– not every one knows they can park at Post Garage
Like their wine, Swirll is served up with style. Each visit brings you closer to a world that few are aware they can experience right in the heart of Dallas. The more you learn about Swirll the more you are drawn in. I came to Swirll when they first opened in 2004, one thing that has not changed is the same warm greeting at the door today as it was on day one. The wine selection has expanded ( you can buy wine too, you don’t HAVE to wait for your batch to ferment 🙂 ) and by popular demand Swirll has expanded its seating area for tasting and the staff to accommodate your bottling needs. Who knew you could make your own personalized labeled wine for as little as $6.00- $12.00 a bottle? MANY choices for the batch you create right there! They have some fun wines, but where’s the case discount and I’d like to taste before I buy my wine, which I can’t do here. I’d stickto buying furniture and other imports at this fun store. They havea great selection of chocolate. Ok, I have to admit I go there only to buy a bottle of Veuve Clicquot because my friends like it and it’s cheap there.But, I’ve had better Champagnesd elswhere.Pros + great furniture, great importsCons – can’t taste, no expert on duty, no case discount
