Where is the Best Wine Store in Charlotte, North Carolina?
The Wine Shoppe at Foxcroft has a new location in Rivergate [The Wine Shoppe at Rivergate!] and you can see from the parking lot that it’s a place you want to hang out! Warm lighting, lava orange walls, a cozy loft space upstairs and a super modern wine bar can all be checked out as you cruise by in your car! Go inside! Order the flourless chocolate cake! Of course the wine and coffee are delicious too! But this was the best chocolate cake I’ve eaten in my 27 years on this planet!I am a healthy eater so when I indulge, I expect it to be worth it! And, it was! The chocolate cake has a rich cheesecake-like consistency and arrives on a saucer with rich whipped cream, a cappucino drizzle sauce [ask for extra sauce to dip forkfulls of cake in!] and a saucy strawberry! The Wine Shoppe at Rivergate should be your next stop this weekend!!!!!Pros + At the new Rivergate location: friendly engaging staff, awesome interior [orange walls, coffeeshop vibe] great wines and amazing desserts!

They also took me to the back room for more expensive bottles when I said that I needed something for my father’s birthday. They have some total Cherries back there as well. I loved it. I tasted wines of their tasting machines (you HAVE to see it to believe it) and ended up buying a baker’s dozen — 12 for me and 1 for my Dad. I hav
