Where is the Best Wine List in Seattle, Washington?
Crow is consistently one of my favorite restaurants in Seattle. Honestly the best chicken in the city. The prosciutto wrapped pan roasted chicken with green beans in an exquisite au jus (sauce of pan drippings) always wows me. The chicken, perfectly crisp on the outside and tender and moist throughout the inside. Order a side of the smashed potato cake and you are golden for an delicious meal. The menu frequently changes highlighting seasonal ingredients with the chicken and lasagna being cornerstones of the menu. Portions are decent sized so if you want you can share with a friend. Usually we share an appetizer, salad or soup and entree so we can sample different parts of the menu. Desserts also tend to be delectable, so save room! Affordable for the quality of food, Crow is your neighborhood restaurant or a special place to bring out of town guests. The space, large industrial style with open ceilings and brightly colored walls, is quite sleek and sophisticated. However the drawba
This review is for the Cafe – Citysearch should have these separated as the experience at each is vastly different! The food was pretty good but the service was horrendous. When we were seated we were brought water right away but almost 15 mins later (no exaggeration) we had to ask for our waitress to come over. We ordered a bottle of wine, an appetizer and two entrees. But, when we were trying to remember what we had agreed on to split (15 mins earlier) she was visibly perturbed and walked off without letting us finish what we were saying. She was a total BI^CH!Then we waited for another 10 or 12 mins and still NO WINE! Our appetizer came before our wine! When she finally brought the wine she was trying to make small talk (probably because she realized she was getting no tip at this point) and said she was moving home to South Carolina in 7 days. GOOD RIDDANCE!The mussels appetizer was awesome and I don’t even like mussels! The coconut curry broth was divine. The crab and shrimp
We had a great night there. The food was very favorful, the server was professional but not stuffy, and the wine list was good. Don’t go there if you are in a hurry or don’t want to spend 70.00 plus for dinner. But if you want a good dinning experience, I think it’s in the top 10 in the Seattle area, and I eat out a lot.Pros + A really great night outCons – expect to pay for a quality night
I went to a wine tasting event here right after Grand Cru opened, and have to say I was impressed! Not just by the wine & food, but after talking a little more in depth with the owners who were here during this event, the whole concept of what they have to offer. This isn’t just a place to come and have a glass of wine. Whether you are new to the land of vino or a seasoned connoisseur, there are many great classes and groups you can become part of. I had such a great time at this event. I met new people and learned more about wine. They have a great atmosphere here for socializing. And to top it off the food was delish too! I would definitely recommend trying this place out!
