Where is the Best Wine List in Milwaukee, Wisconsin?
I want to start by saying that I’ ve never wrote up a review for this location yet, however with the exception of lastnight I would typically give the Chophouse 5 stars. I’ve dined here a dozen times or so and lastnight was a terrible experience almost solely based on service and the table location we had(which I understand that always can’t be helped when busy). Our waiter was lousey! He had to walk by us often because our table was right where the waiters and waitresses run food from the kitchen and he could not apparently see empty water and wine glasses or plates that were done just sitting in front of us empty. My wife and I brought another couple with us and unfortunately they weren’t impressed either. When I made the reservation they had asked if this was for a special occasion and I told them that it was my wifes birthday. Now I did’t expect anything for that, however if the waiter would have acknowledged her birthday or brought us a piece of dessert at the end of the me
Pizza Man, along with 3 other businesses and 10 apartments, burnt down at 3:30am cst Tuesday, Jan 19th, 2010. Such a tragedy for anyone involved. 150 firefighters, 9 different organizations, worked to put the blaze out. The building is considered a total loss, it will more than likely be demolished once investigation for the cause is completed. I would really be surprised if it was arson, but no word yet. Good luck to all of you! You have my deepest sympathy, please come back strong and show us what you are made of!Pros + A staple in the city, very high qualityCons – Building is a total loss
What a nice dinning experience. We went around 6:00pm on a Thursday and it wasn’t that crowded. The bar area was a bit to dark but they had a wonderful drink menu and wine selection. The restaraunt was very clean, as were the bathrooms. The waitstaff did a fabulous job explaining the dinning expereince and with making reservations. We had 6 people in our party and it was a bit crowded in the booth for us all and we had to reach over each other to get to both burners. It would have been so much better if they made some tables in a U-shape so the server could reach in better as well as the ease for the customers. The food was great. I recommend the BIG NIGHT OUT, you get some great food options.Pros + Unique dinning experience great food and serviceCons – Not the best for group dinning
