Overall: This is my first stay at at JW Marriott (2 nights). It’s a very nice hotel, though it does not seem to be a huge upgrade from a regular Marriott. The location is excellent. Room: Very comfortable. Nice bedding. Flat screen TV (though wasted on an analog signal). Clean and quiet. Internet is an extra charge. Location: Great location…

The Hilton is magnificently located and appointed. The check-in is a little confusing – hidden away on the second floor. Room very nice, comfortable beds and spotlessly clean. Starbucks quick breakfast on 2nd floor very convenient for conventioneers. BUT it is MUCH TOO EXPENSIVE for what they give you, $270 per night is outrageous. They are obviously putting the squeeze…

We have attended a couple of parties here. The costumes are cute and so is the “fashion show” but there was no one to do the makeup so both times the moms ended up doing it. They serve cake and at the same time, put chips on the plate (I thought ice cream went with cake?). My two year old thought that was “a-scusting” (disgusting). The place was cute but a little bit of mopping and touch up paint could go a long way. Also, if you’re going to have more than 10 or 12 adults, forget it. There’s no place for them to sit or stand. The price is right for what you get and if you have a small crowd, this’ll be fine.

I have worked with Anthony as a transportation vendor for almost 20 years. I find him to be very detail oriented and meticulous. He makes my job much easier and his transportation always operates like clockwork.Pros + Makes my job easier.Cons – None

We spent 5 days – 4 nights at this hotel in June 2008. The staff was fantastic. We got to the hotel early but they let us check in early. We did not like our first room because it was near the roof-top swimming pool and we could small the chlorine so they quickly moved us to a beautiful room on the 4th floor. The service was fantastic. The consier was very helpful, pointing things out on maps, letting us know about local events and booking on us on a great swamp tour. The pool and hot tub on the roof deck served as a great refuge during the hot, humid evenings. They also serve complementary peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and hot chocolate at 10pm (what a sweet touch). The hotel is about a 15 minute walk to the French Quarter but we liked being away from the hustle and bustle. However if you are not a walker (and it can get really hot here) this might not be appealing. Especially since there are very a few places to grab lunch or breakfast around here and nowhere to eat dinner.P
