Mary does a great job and is very talented. She is willing to go out of her way to make time for an appointment even if it does not fit into her salon hours. I would recommend Mary to anyone looking for great color and style. She is up to date with the latest trends and even has great hair herself. As you know most hair stylist have messed up hair that is usually butched or multi colored as they experiment on themselves often, but not Mary. The only downside is that I find her prices somewhat steep, but they are consistent with other great stylist in the area, not to mention that I don?t usually spend a lot of money on hair care. We had our first annual girls weekend in Raleigh and I picked this spa out of the phone book, literally! It was well beyond our expectations. I wanted a massage, but foundout I was pregnant right before, so I “settled” for a facial, but can’t wait to get a massage when I go back this year. We went on Saturday, and it was quiet, peaceful, and we felt like we got a lot of exclusive attention. I know after our appts, which included manicures and pedicures, they spent so much time with us! My only complaint is that they were very easy to reach my email last year to schedule my appointment, but this year, not so much. I guess they are busy!My friend had never had a massage before, and now she is hooked. We see no reason to change spas for this year’s girl’s weekend. I went here for one facial when I was a bride-to-be. I meant to pamper myself but I think my skin was just too delicate because I had a sunburnt feeling and appearance for several days after it and even washing my face bothered it. On the plus side my face felt incredibly smooth when it didn’t protest to my touching it. As I was leaving the lady who did my facial warned me that I needed to wear sunscreen for the next couple of days, and it was even more important since I am very fair of skin. The lady checking me out tried to sell me some spf15 after the facial lady told me this in front of her. I said no thanks since I had moisturizer at home I use with spf30 in it. The facial lady told her no way! That is was too low for me and gave me a small jar of spf30 (same size as something you would find lip gloss in). This was my first time ever going to a salon in the Raleigh area. I normally go home once a year to get my hair done, but I just couldn’t stand it anymore. After searching around on Google, I found Samuel Cole. I was somewhat hesitant, considering their listed price of a regular wash/cut/style (I’m a poor college student) and the fact that I’m very particular with my hair. But my first visit was PHENOMENAL! Not only was the receptionist incredibly friendly, so was Nico. She greeted me with a handshake and a warm smile, and we immediately hit it off!Professional, friendly, and so upbeat, I couldn’t ask for anyone better! I absolutely LOVE my new haircut. It’s the first time I’ve ever been fully satisfied with it. This was my first time at a spa, and I’ll defintely be going back! I chose La Therapie because of their beautiful website, and was blown away when I walked in the door. The decor is absolutely exquisite…I felt immeditately relaxed. The front desk was so friendly, and made sure I had everything I needed and felt comfortable. Even the music was perfect!After changing into the most comfortable robe ever, I sat in their inhalation room. What a treat! It warmed me up and the eucalyptus vapors soothed me all over. All of the treatment rooms are upstairs, and that’s where I had my first ever facial and massage. The therapists explained exactly what they were going to do, and were so friendly! I left my massage with Aaron feeling like I was floating on air, and then went to my facial. Emily was so helpful! I have “problem skin” and she sorted out all my of worries and cleared up my face.All in all, I cannot wait to go back. And I got a gift certificate for Christmas, so I’ll be returning
