Heaven Spa is a marvelous Day Spa. My freidns and I as well as our families have been clients for over 3 years and have never encountered anything but the BEST!I am compelled to write this in response to the previous PHONY REVIEW written by another Day Spa (apparently)!What “she” claims is untrue. I have,in my hands, several gift cards from Heaven Spa and they all have the “expiration” language in BOLD PRINT on them-not small print as claimed.The owners are always helpful and always accomodating whenver we or anyone we know has any problems (such as expired cards).This is by far the best Day Spa anywhere and this PHONY REVIEWER should be ashamed of herself/himself for the obvious attempt to discredit Heaven Spa.If you truly have/had a problem the management is always willing to assist!!Pros + Knock your socks offCons – Nothing
I searched all over this city for a good hairdresser – and finally gave up and found someone reasonable and good in NYC – but he retired! I tried someone at a salon around 8th & Walnut and received the worst haircut in my whole life! I searched the internet and decided to try Edmondo Blando (Eddie) at Salon Vanity. My hair is fine and must be cut well – cut in the way that it falls naturally – not into some shape from a magazine. I live and die by the cut! I have now been twice to see Eddie and am very pleased with the haircuts that he has given me. I especially like that he uses a technique whereby he cuts my hair “dry.” It seems to make a big difference. I had actually heard of this technique and was considering traveling to NYC again to try a hairdresser who “cuts dry.” But I then found out that this is how Eddie cuts hair (I believe following the techniques of the internationally known Swiss hairdresser Mike Karg). I am so thrilled that Jon is back at Pileggi’s. This is where he belongs! I have been following Jon for over 12 years now and he has been consistently amazing with my (and my friends’) hair. He is so amazing in creating the best patterns for my highlights. I like to wear my hair curly too and he really knows how to cut curly hair. I travel a lot and sometimes I need to go to a stylist for a quick dry or cut, and I could never find anyone who does it like Jon. I love the way my highlights are so fine and dimensional. He knows color and can do anything. I get compliments all the time. He is fun to chat with, handsome (tall, dark and handsome). and very charming. And he listens to you and your hair needs. Never tried to sell me anything that he didn’t think it would improve the health of my hair. And now that he’s back at this beautiful salon, is even better. The salon is truly stylish and classy. This Review is ALSO in response to “ginaat282” Gina, after reading your review I have to agree with something you said – YOU ARE PARINOID!!!! And I believe you to be a LIAR!!!!!! I worked directly with Frank for over five years and I have been a close friend of his for 15 years. I know there is no way in on earth that you asked anyone in Salon DeSante – or anywhere else for that matter about Frank and got a negative response. Frank DeSante is nothing less than a true gentleman and you would be lucky if even glanced in your direction! How dare you lie about Frank in a public forum like this- if you were so damn “uncomfortable” why didn’t you say something to him? Why go to a website like a coward and vilify this man? Was Frank really “inappropriate” or is that Frank really didn’t pay any attention to you besides doing your hair? Maybe you’re not only paranoid and a liar but you are also desperate and pathetic?!
