I wanted to tell everyone today about my favorite hairstylist at Elixir, Elena Mena! I’ve been seeing her for awhile now, and I wanted to go on the record as saying I absolutely LOVE the way Elena took care of me yesterday! Elena gave me EXACTLY the haircut I wanted and needed for my night on the town, and the way she made me look and feel was absolutely divine! I really love the way she listened to me before she began. After the day I’d had at work, the scalp treatment she gave to me just relaxed me so much, I forgot all about all the problems that gave me a splitting headache when I walked in. Elena gave me a really great shampoo and haircut, and made me look really, really great!!! She made me feel like I no longer had a care in the world. After my last stylist left her job to be a mom to her newborn baby, I went on a search to find a good stylist.My search brought me to a beautiful salon near downtown Fremont. I can say that my experience there was by far the best I have received in recent years. Ann (my stylist) greeted me at the door, after which she introduced me to the owner of the salon, who shook my hands and welcomed me to his salon.Ann spent several minutes examining my hair and listening to the kind of cut I wanted. I even brought pictures which she examined carefully and asked questions. By the time she started cutting my hair I was comfortable that she knew why I was there and what I wanted done. She didn’t waste a lot of time with needless chitter chatter, and instead concentrated on giving me a fantastic cut that I could manage with light blow-drying or air drying to suit my damaged hair.By the time she finished the cut and styling for my hair, I was extremely pleased with the cut and my expe
LOVE their products. Owner Vel actively promotes a “Less is best” attitude toward skincare. I was a skeptic at first, since I was using a 6-step, chemical-based line from the dermatologist. Now, just cleanser, “serum” and a little eyecream… easy! And my skin is surely healthier than ever. I recommend this line to everyone I know. Good for “problem” skin or just anybody!Facial services feel sooooo good, Vel has magic hands. Very soothing. I like the results from photo-rejuventation too. Ambiance is contemporary and tranquil, spotlessly clean!Scheduling can sometimes be a little confusing, but with some flexibility it always works out. I was a client of Mrs. Bentz (Monica) during several days of visits over the holidays 2007. As a gift, I was given quite a number of services. I was immediately impressed by Monica’s beautiful engaging smile and non-invasive, yet personable, demeanor. She made me feel right at home. Her conversation was either educating or lightly appropriate and never made me feel as if I were being asked for a 30 minute review of my life, like so many cosmetologists, or masseuse do. There was clear evidence that Monica was focused on my needs, desires and comforts, so that she could provide me with a truly memorable experience. I find this to be the consummate professional and greatly appreciate finding a service provider with this attitude level.
