Where is the Best Waxing in Atlanta, Georgia?
I’ve spent the last 10 years being really spoiled because my best friend is one of the best stylists in the Pacific NW, but when I moved to Atlanta this summer I was faced, for the first time, with the daunting task of finding someone I trust enough to make my hair beautiful. Let’s face it, your hair is with you EVERY DAY and is your most noticeable accessory, so finding someone that not only sees your vision, but will advise you on what changes will make you look your absolute best is a must.I put off this painful process as long as I could…until one day I realized my split ends were over 2 inches long. OUCH! I did my research, said a little prayer and made an appointment with Atwood at Salon Red.The moment I walked into Salon Red, I knew I liked it. The atmosphere was cute and trendy, the receptionist was nice and welcoming (and her hair was absolutely adorable!) and I just felt immediately at ease. Then I met Atwood. She had me at “hello”. She took her time talking to
I’ve gone to Hildi for years and years. She’s great – a fabulous sense of humor and a genuine people person! Once you go to her you are a part of her family! I was very apprehensive about putting color on my hair but she used a non-damaging semi-permanent color that looks so natural – I’ve gotten so many compliments – everyone thinks I have highlights. Hildi always keeps up on the latest trends by going to national seminars. She takes her time cutting hair and does a fantastic job! Once she gets to know you she’ll even go the extra mile – she’ll come in early or stay late to accommodate a client with a special circumstance or an emergency. Chique is a great neighborhood salon where you get lots of personal service.Pros + knowledgable and friendly staff, Hildi’s shampoos and head massages, recent redecoratingCons – none
This year I celebrate over 31 years of being a client at Three~13 and so enjoy the professional guidance that helps me stay with current styles. I would not go anywhere else! The professional pride and obvious passion for the art of beauty care is so clearly apparent. The Three~13 experience begins before you enter the doors of the building with viewing the ever changing landscape of the beautiful grounds. On the inside there are rooms with soft music, choice of beverages, a back message after each shampoo, interesting conversation with Three~13 professionals. Rooms are adorned with fresh flowers and holiday decor. It never fails; I leave with a smile, for each visit is pact with pleasure. Thank you Tony, Michael, and the entire Three~13 family! You are the greatest! In the 30-plus years I have gone to Three~13 my “waits” have been few and far between. To balance any wait I have had, there has been great understanding when I have overlooked an appointment; employees have been very
Came in for a massage and what I thought would be an over priced pedi. I had a gift certificate so I wasn’t worried about the cost here. I got to the spa around 9:45 am and my appointment started at 10. I was greeted with a warm cup of tea and brought into a cozy waiting room. What a treat! The waiting room had W Magazine, Vogue, Cosmo, a couple fun Buddha books, US Weekly, strawberries, cucumber water (?) and soft chairs. The massage was delightful. I had to ask for a lighter touch but the massage therapist made the correct change in pressure. The pedi was mad (never used that word before now) 🙂 fun. I read US Weekly and then napped in the most comfortable chair ever.I think this place gets the idea of relaxing and good spa services. SaraPros + The people Cons – Not much to say negative
