Where is the Best Waterfront Dining in Miami, Florida?
Le Tub started off as a local hangout but ever since it was featured on Food Network it’s taken a downward turn. Parking is a chore in itself. The ambiance is made up of seats made out of old splintery wood, Flies constantly landing on your meals, Birds pooping on your table or worse, and Waitstaff with attitudes. From the time you order your meal , I can guarantee that you’ll be waiting at least 45 minutes to an hour for a simple cheese burger. The wait staff is so busy that they forget something as simple as your drinks. Hopefully your meal comes as you ordered it or you’ll be eating it along with your side orders in the car on the way home, But management doesn’t mind because their always busy… My Father swears by Le Tub but I swear at him when he suggests we go there to eat!…………..
The owner, Joseph Maggi, takes the reservations himself! He’s the Maitre D’ when you arrive and he seats you! He tells you all you want to know about THE DAY’s CATCH!The double 2-color tablecloths and furnishings make for a great ambiance. The views of the huge swimming pool and intra-coastal canal are formidable!(It may be too humid or too hot to sit outside.) The high-stool bar is wonderful for before or after drinks. It is frequented by friendly local condo residents. Joseph, himself, goes out-of-his-way to introduce you to everyone at the bar. The extensive menu shows a great variety of dishes at very reasonable prices!”Sharon”, the bartender, is very good at mixing, generously, any drink!(You may dine “solo” at the bar!The $2.00 parking valet may be the only one IN THE WORLD at that price! We’ve been there 2x…we’ll be back!!! If Joseph doesn’t change anything, we’ll be there over-and-over!J&MariaVisitors from LONG BEACH. CALIFORNIA
