Where is the Best View in Charlotte, North Carolina?
So i would like to like this place but i just cant. twice now i have been to this place and had the server spill beer or drinks on me. Neither time was an effort made to apologize and both times the people just seemed irritated they had to clean up the mess. I lie all the selections on the menu, but mostly just glorified bar food. Stick to the simpe things on the menu . Live music is fun and a great location on the lake but i would not go out of the way for anything here.Pros + live musicCons – service and fod quality
Went here quite a while ago, and it was my first experience in a Brazilian Steakhouse. Upon sitting down you are greeted by a server for drink orders and are advised to make your way to the salad/cheese/light appetizer bar to get appetite moving. Here there are shrimp, salads, cheeses, fruits and vegetables. Being that I came here for the meat selection, I went very light on that portion of the meal. Shortly after you receive little tokens where you are told that if it’s one side up the servers bring sticks of meat out to your table until you turn it “off” per se. They had a huge selection of meats; chicken, ribs, beef, lamb all done multiple ways. Each of these meats were cooked perfectly had no issues with the seasonings. They cut you pieces depending on how you like your meat i.e. the closer to the inside of the stick, it’s going to be more rare, etc., which is nice for people who are particular about their meat temperature. I had a meal at Aquavina while visiting Charlotte. Despite its reputation, the food was completely ordinary. The “this and that” three ways or four ways is just trying too hard for a restaurant that hasn’t quite mastered the “one way” meal. I started with the Aquavina salad. Interesting presentation, but the salad itself was so ordinary and bland. The roquefort toasts on which it was served were not tasty enough; the dressing was too sweet and not flavorful and the greens weren’t fresh enough, in part because they were bathed in dressing so that they felt wilted. The cranberries were a nice touch however…My main course, the salmon, was simply non-descript. It didn’t have enough flavor to invoke anything other than a flaky fish. The greens were bitter and gross and the grits…well who likes grits really??? Anyway, I would not recommend this restaurant except to maybe some very unsophisticated eaters…The wine, on the other hand, was quite well selected and quite nice. The
