Unfortunately, like many places, they’ve lost something in the last 4 years.Maybe they have a new chef…or just too many different sous-chefs. Not sure. Not as good and more expensive than it’s worth….

Terry’s wife was hosting dinner with coworkers and sister. I was lucky enough to be invited and met them up at Thanh Long in Sunset District. Thanh Long is a Vietnamese restaurant which has gotten fame from their 2 signature dishes; Roasted Crab and Garlic Noodles. For a restaurant this famous I’m kinda ashamed to no idea what to expect. I relied on Terry’s wife to do most of the ordering. We started off with 2 appetizers; Salt & Pepper Calamari (image 6, $10.50) – I’m still on a Calamari diet but from the pieces I had, it was wonderful. It’s like they just cut the squid, salted/seasoned/breaded, flashed fried, and brought immediately to your table. I’d say it’s probably the best I’ve had. Dungeness Crab Puffs (image 5, $10.50) – complete ripoff and crab meat was nowhere to be found. It was mostly herb cheese (aka fancy herbs + cream cheese). You can blame me as I suggested this order. This dinner was almost a month ago and I cringe just thinking of this waste of money. For main co

i was just visiting and my friends told me about three seasons, so we went. i am no expert in vietnamese food but i must say it was great food. we started with the summer spring rolls. they were pretty good, im not much of an appetizer type of guy, but they were good. i ordered the shaking beef AKA Bo Luc Lac and it was some of the tastiest food i have had to date. it was a little spicy for me but i am a wimp when it comes to spicy food. the atmosphere was great, the customers seemed to be enjoying themselves, the setting was nice. the service was HORRIBLE. the only reason i give 4 stars and not 5. the waitresses were slow and rude. had to ask multiple times for drink refills or silverware. gave dirty looks and bad attitudes when we asked for the check 5 times. and made the whole experience uncomfortable. thank god the food was good is all i can say. pretty bad when the bus boy askes you if you need a refill. i will be returning there this weekend. probably saturday night. give it an

Just came home from Le Colonia – WE LOVED IT! Service was fantastic (ask for Daniel’s table). It was mother-in-laws 79th birthday. They brought out a dessert plate with Happy Birthday in chocolate – tall thin candle – was great. We took two kids (9 & 12) and two adults and one senior. No problem with older kids – they made extra effort for them. Great place for out of town guests. Decore nothing like you have seen before. Great lighting – everyone looks fantastic. Get the beef salad – could have eaten two. Not great for younger children (a older couple would not sit next to us – their loss). Was nervous about after reading very old reviews – they were all wrong. I will go back soon.Pros + great lighting, good food, easy parkingCons – hard to find, adults recommended

very nice place, and the food was tasty and unique. wasn’t as upscale as people are making it out to be, i felt it was a nice date place, or a nice evening out. upscale but not upscale enough where you warrant stuffiness. i think between me and my girl the bill was like $150 (drinks, appetizers, main and deserts) so very reasonably priced…lots of people claim it’s overpriced/expensive, but it’s what’ i’d expect for a 5-star type of place. i’d definitely go back for special dinners or if i’m just in the mood for a nice meal. they had a jazz band playing too, which was a classy added touch. nice bar upstairs, separated from the main dining room visually.whine whine whine. the service was fine…in fact any place of this type of caliber is going to have good service. that’s the standard at restaurants like this. i find that when people go a nice place, they expect servers to jump around and dance for them or something. no the service wasn’t like a ciprianni or gordon ramsey
