Where is the Best Vietnamese Food in San Diego, California?
This is not a typical “pho joint”. I come here for good, authentic vietnamese food that is kind to my wallet. They serve dishes that my mom used to cook for us at home, but a little bit better sorry mom 🙁 Whenever I’m in the mood for good home cooking, I ordered their Ca Kho (catish sauteed in fish sauce) and Canh Chua Tom (sour soup w/ shrimp). I usually take my family here whenever they’re in town to eat their Ca Nuong ( roasted catfish). This is the only restaurant in SD you can find this entree. It is so good!! The one thing that makes this restaurant a 4 instead of 5 star is service can be scarce when it gets busy. Overall not a big thing that’ll keep me away from this place.Pros + authentic vietnamese foodCons – scarce service when busy
My husband was craving Vietnamese food and glad we looked on Citysearch to find this place. The waiter as friendly and very helpful in directing on on the entries. My daughter and I split #52 with noodles and shrimp, yummy beef and egg rolls. I had sugar cane juice, awesome and better as I was drinking and adding water to it. My daughter had coconut water with coconut slices, and my husband had Vietnamese coffee. He had pho with chicken, excellent. We will go there again!Pros + Friendly and clean
