Where is the Best Upscale Casual Dining in Norfolk, Nebraska?
I will have to rerate the pirate house after my December 08 trip because they’ve apparently torn down alot of the rooms. Sad if you ask me. Beyond that the food (especially at lunch time when you can get the low country buffet) is really good and not expensive. For kids, you often get a pirate (could be Jack Sparrow or it could be another entertaining pirate) walking through out the place. The kids menu is great and the environment is awesome. It’s perhaps one of the oldest buildings in Georgia so it’s a must see while in town.
This is our favorite restaurant in Norfolk. The menu will please every palate, from the slightly eccentric to the traditional. The ambience is sexy and intimate, though it can get a bit noisy on very busy nights. Service has almost always been top-notch, with the exception of one night when it appeared the place was understaffed. That was the only time we’ve seen any slip, but the waiter was sure to make sure we left happy. The food is mouthwatering and worth every penny…the prices are JUST right… You’re really missing out if you’ve never been to this jewel!
My wife and I have been to this restaurant several times, mostly by ourselves, but once with a large family group. We have left every time feeling our money was well spent. One reviewer complained about food being mircowaved. We’ve never seen any evidence of this. The only quibble would be to add a $ to the price range. Most entries at night seem to be in the $14-$25 range.
