Where is the Best Upscale Casual Dining in Las Vegas, Nevada?

I ate there a few years back and had one of the best steaks and overall meals of my life and I have lived in wonderful food cities such as Chicago and New Orleans. The steak was incredible, every bite made me pause and reflect and how awesome it was. The lobster bisque was to die for. The second time I ate there it was not as good. I think everything suffered because it was so busy. It was still very good but not nearly as an enjoyable meal as the first time. I would eat there again but I would go right when they open to avoid the bar-club atmoshpere of when it gets busy.

My husband and I ate here on July 5. We eat late, and have found that calling 60-90 min ahead is all that is fine to get a reservation for a later hour. We called at 9:30pm to request a table at 10:15pm , and were told no problem, and gave our name. We arrived 45 minutes later, and were told by the hostess that she had no record of our reservation, but that she could seat us anyway. We were perplexed–had the man my husband had spoken to 45 minutes before not written down our reservation or they had lost record of it in 45 minutes time? Regardless, it gave a poor first impression. If the hostess had been better trained, she could have simply said “right this way” & we’d have been none the wiser that they had screwed up our reservation. She asked where we’d like to sit, & we said “further back, away from the noise” as the fight had just gotten out & there were huge crowds walking thru the hotel ,people screaming and cheering, There were over 50 set and empty tables, plenty of staf

I loved this place. We had so much fun staying here. The people at the front desk were super nice and sweet and helped us in figuring out how to get around town and where to go. Our room was a great size and it was really cheap. (Off season, or course) I’ve never stayed here before, but I’ll totally stay here again!Pros + Great room, fun atmosphere

The problem here is that they price themselves similar to Bradley Ogdon, Delmonico’s, Rosemary’s, Andre’s, etc; but they are a large chain restaurant, and simply cannot deliver the expected level of service and quality of food. There was nothing ‘wrong’ with the service or our meal. But when all the steaks, a la carte, are $43 or more, my expectations rise higher than what a chain steak house can deliver. We chose this place because of its proximity to TI (where our friend was coming from) and because they had plenty of available reservations last minute on a Sat night. There were 3 adults & a toddler in our party–I called ahead of time to assure that they had highchairs and that it would be ok to bring the toddler. Surprisingly, we were given a prime table in the corner with views up and down the strip–and the tables are separated from each other by a good deal of distance. The ambience was very good—great views, not too loud, comfortable. The server was very nice, but again

Service is Lacking at times, but the food keeps me in there about twice per year; as opposed to the usual once-per-month. I have over ten- years in Food Service/ Hospitality/ Management/ Etc. experience…. this place seems a bit “Uppity” as compared to the Cheescake Factory in North Scottsdale, AZ…. Oddly enough… People in N. Scottsdale Arizona are more Well-Off than the phonies that live here in Summerlin, Las Vegas, NV. Good luck! Thank you! =D
