Where is the Best Trendy Scene in Salt Lake City, Utah?
This is my second time to Bambara and the food both times was great. The first visit was for a friend?s birthday and the service was just OK, she made it obvious that she was not happy that we brought our own wine to have with dinner; however the food and dessert were very good.The second visit was excellent, yes we brought our own wine and the waiter was receptive and seemed OK with that, the food once again was very good. I want to give kudos to the host that I made reservations with; he asked me if it was a special occasion, and yes it was for a birthday and the staff had presented us with a menu and on the top it had the individuals name on the menu that said Happy Birthday?. Nice touch Bambara (sorry I can?t remember the host?s name but thanks) I would recommend Bambora and I intent to return for special occasions.Pros + Great food, Great Ambience. We are regulars at the Bayou and absolutely love Michelle. Whenever we come in, she remebers our favorite drinks and what we like to eat…great customer service. Food is good, beer is good and the bar has good mixed drinks. HOWEVER…my last visit to the Bayou was AWFUL! My waitress (Kim?) told me if I wanted a mixed drink I needed to tell the bartender. Are you kidding me? MY WAITRESS TOLD ME TO GO TO THE BARTENDER FOR SERVICE!! Ok besides one bad experience the place is great. my Personal experience was great fast seating friendly service…… I thought the portions were perfect but thats because I don’t visit all you can eat buffets’ . If your looking for a ROMANTIC quiet place for a special occassion this is it ………..the only thing I didn’t like was yes there was no place mats and I believe they could’ve really done something out of the ordinary with some the have the potentual to play around with that so that much I’ll agree!!Pros + The place to Impress …….
