What makes Tantra the hottest Spot on Mondays are the Vibe, Music and the People, but the staff is rude and should as mandatory be more polite, the front door guy treats people like nothing, double charge admission price when the house is getting packed, the security are very rude nasty giant creatures, though the servers are nice and also the bartenders. The atmosphere is good and decoration is ok, if they change some of the staff maybe it’d make that better, but the best is that guy playing the platters percussion . I can’t mention about food cause I only order vodka martinis which are good!!!Pros + Music, Vibe, PeopleCons – Rude Very Rude Staff
This was our second night in a row. We were going out of town and we had a blast with Joel at the bar. He basiclly told us what we were going to have and that we would love it. He wasn’t pushy he asked what we typically liked. He told us about the history of the place and talked about the owners/chef (Cindy Hudson & Shirley). He was by himself and was very busy, so the info was given in pieces. Apparentlly everyone at the bar must have been there before cause everyone seem to know Joel by name. It was crazy but just the fun atmosphere that we didn’t know we were in the mood for. I’m gald the hostess told us to go to the bar and wait for our table cause then I would’nt be telling everyone about this. This restaurant, though tightly spaced and a little loud was very cool and makes you feel warm and cozy. The food was every bit as good as Joel said and infinitly more. This is the first time I have found it notable to comment on a restaurant that I found on citysearch. I was looking for a good place to order some food for takeout, that was nearby. So, I went to the restaurant which is right off of Kendall drive in the shopping center with Pollo Tropical, and Kendall Ale House. The parking wasn’t bad at the time I went, but if you go during a major sports event then the parking lot is packed with people going to the Ale House. So I went in and reviewed their menu which has many choices from pizza, to pasta, to salads, sandwiches, etc. However, the thing I loved was their full page of desserts! They also specialize in wines and coffee drinks. It is a very unusual restaurant and especially for the fact that it is located in Kendall because there is nothing latin about this restaurant. Overall, the service I got for takeout the two times I have been in the last week were excellent and super friendly. Also, the food was ready in just over 10 minutes both
